Sidecarlabs are working on a new feedback widget that can be embedded in any web page with a single line of code. The points of difference? The tabber style of the widget allows the site owner to offer tips and tricks as well as request feedback. Is the the salesforce.com Ideas crowdsourcing platform (Dell, Starbucks) too simple? Jeffrey Philiips from innovationtools.com thinks so. His main criticism is that these platforms are not full idea management systems - producing just a catalogue of thousands of ideas (9000+ in Dell case).
